Those who've visited Dorset usually get the bug and come back - it has some of the most beautiful countryside and coastline in the country and there's plenty to do for couples and families throughout the year.

Time to Relax

Peveril Point is only 5 minutes walk into Swanage but occupies a secluded spot at the end of a small peninsula and has a wonderful, local character.

The Cottage is on the Isle of Purbeck, which is spoilt for good country pubs and eateries from the traditional 'drinkers' pubs' to boutique restaurants.

There are local castles and museums to experience and it's a beautiful place to visit whatever the season and weather.

Enjoy the Outdoors

Whether you want to walk, bike, sail, kayak, scuba dive or just enjoy the long sandy beaches, the area is an outdoor paradise!

Approx. 20m from the Cottage is a stony foreshore with small jetties ideal for crabbing. Buck's Beach is 5 mins walk next to the sailing club and pier. Swanage's long, sandy ‘Blue Flag’ Main Beach is 10 minutes' walk from the Cottage.

The South West Coastal Path runs right past the Cottage and on to some of the most stunning coastline in the Jurassic area.

Fabulous Location

The Cottage is on Peveril Point - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - with views directly onto Swanage Bay and Old Harry Rocks.

We are next to the RNLI boathouse and from the front gate are the Downs and Durlston Bay. Just around the corner is the boat park and jetty for local fishermen.
